I want to become the first interplanetary ceramicist. This idea once took shape in my mind. So I began preparing, and I hope it’s only a matter of time before humanity becomes an interplanetary species. Of course, I can’t simulate zero gravity on Earth, but I can attempt to work in an inverted gravitational field. The structure of the device is a wooden cube frame that holds a potter’s wheel suspended upside down. This position presents new challenges for the user, such as clay that stretches and collapses on its own.
